About Top Shott
Meet Kadee Shott, Founder of Top Shott Equine Therapy
A lifelong horsewoman, AOPP-certified practitioner, and the person who will be at your barn for every session.
The horse that kept me walking
I was 18 years old when I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and told to prepare for a smaller life. Nobody told the horses.
Horses never saw my diagnosis. They needed me to show up — and when I did, they gave me purpose, focus, and a reason to keep moving. They grounded me on the hard days and demanded my best on the good ones.
One horse in particular, Doc, reminded me why any of it mattered. Watching him, and thinking about everything horses had given me, I kept coming back to one question: what if I could give that back? What if helping horses feel their best could be my work?
That question became Top Shott Equine Therapy.
How I work
Top Shott offers mobile PEMF and 3B Laser sessions for horses across Riverside County and surrounding communities. I come to you, so your horse stays in familiar surroundings and your day stays simple.
- Every horse is an individual. No two horses — or donkeys — respond the same way, so every session is adjusted to the horse in front of me.
- History first. I ask about health, workload, and recent veterinary care before a first session, and I’ll postpone or decline a session when it isn’t appropriate.
- Part of the team. I work alongside your veterinarian, farrier, and trainer — never in place of them.
- Honest expectations. I describe what these sessions are designed to support and never promise medical outcomes.
I work with performance horses, barrel horses, ranch and cow horses, trail and pleasure horses, senior horses, and rescues — and the people who love them.

Where Top Shott is going
Top Shott is also the foundation for a bigger dream: Rainbow Rise Ranch — a future place where rescued horses get second chances and where horses and people heal side by side. Rescue. Restore. Rise.
Closer to home, Bert and Ernie — two donkeys with two completely different personalities — are a daily reminder that thoughtful, individual care matters for every animal.
If you’d like to talk about your horse, or just want to connect, I’d love to hear from you.
